How to join the tiered program?
You can select your plan during Tangem Pay onboarding or change your subscription at any time in the app.
What are the prices and benefits for each tier?
Basic:
- up to 3 Visa Platinum virtual cards per user;
- $0/month;
- Daily Spending Limit per card $10,000
Plus:
- up to 5 Visa Signature virtual cards per user;
- $29.99/ month, free with $4,500 monthly spending;
- Daily Spending Limit per card $50,000
- Airport lounge passes, travel insurance, and other benefits.
How can I check and change my current tier?
You can check your current plan and change it in the app:
- Open your Tangem Pay account in the Tangem app.
- Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner.
- Select Current plan.
- Tap Change plan and choose your preferred option.
Note:
- When selecting the Plus plan during onboarding after KYC, the system will not issue the Signature card immediately. Instead, it will wait for the account to be topped up with $29.99.
- Once the funds are received, the amount will be charged immediately, the plan will be activated, and the card will be issued.
Upgrading from Basic to Plus
You must have sufficient funds in your account to cover the first month’s payment. Otherwise, the upgrade will not be possible.
Your existing Platinum cards will not be closed. Instead, an additional Signature card will be issued. You can close your Platinum cards later at your own discretion.
The plan fee will be charged from your Tangem Pay account every 30 calendar days.
If there are insufficient funds in the account at the time of the scheduled plan payment, the account balance will become negative.
From that moment, you will have 30 calendar days to restore your balance to a positive amount. If this is not done, all Signature cards associated with your Tangem Pay account will be closed, the plan will be downgraded to Basic, and a standard card will be issued.
Downgrading from Plus to Basic
Your Signature cards will remain active until the end of the paid subscription period.
You will be automatically switched from Plus to Basic on the date of the next scheduled plan payment. No Plus subscription fee will be charged on the day of the switch.
On the plan change date, all of your Signature cards will be closed.
Can I have subscriptions to multiple tiers at the same time?
No, unfortunately, it is not possible to have several subscriptions.
How can I use my Visa Signature benefits?
Your eligible Visa Signature card includes built-in protection and travel benefits at no extra cost when you pay for eligible purchases or bookings in full with your card.
Purchase & Shopping Protections
1. Extended Warranty Protection
Extends the original manufacturer’s warranty on eligible purchases made with your card.
- Coverage: Adds up to 1 extra year of warranty protection.
- Eligible Items: Must have an original manufacturer or retailer warranty between 3 months and 3 years.
- Coverage Limit: Up to $5,000 USD per incident | Maximum $10,000 USD per account per year.

2. Price Protection
Reimburses the difference if you find a lower advertised price for an item shortly after buying it.
- Eligibility: You find the exact same item (same make, model, and model year) at a lower price within 30 days of purchase.
- Minimum Claim: The price difference must be greater than $25 USD.
- Coverage Limit: Up to $500 USD per item | Maximum $2,000 USD per account per 12-month period.
- Registration: Automatic (no pre-registration required).

3. Purchase Protection
Protects your purchases against theft or accidental damage.
- Eligibility: Items paid in full with your card are covered for 180 days from the purchase date.
- Coverage Limit: Up to $5,000 USD per event | Maximum $10,000 USD per account per 12-month period.

4. Auto Rental Insurance
Coverage for accidental damage to a rental vehicle when booked and paid for with your card.
- Rental Duration: Covers rental periods up to 31 consecutive days.
- Requirement: You must decline the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW/LDW) or equivalent coverage offered by the rental car company.
