Partners & Roadmap

Who provides the card?

Tangem Pay is provided by Paera LLC, a U.S.-based company responsible for delivering the service to end users from eligible countries.

The Tangem Pay card is issued by Rain, a Visa Principal Member, and supported by trusted providers including Sumsub (identity verification) and Elliptic (transaction monitoring).

Tangem AG — the company behind the Tangem Wallet hardware — does not provide, manage, or operate the Tangem Pay program, nor is it responsible for the custody of user funds linked to the card. Neither Tangem AG nor Paera LLC holds custody of your funds at any time, your assets remain in your own self-custodial smart contract throughout.

Can I earn interest or rewards on my balance?

Not currently. Support for stablecoin yield and referral-based rewards is on the roadmap. You will be able to opt in when those features are introduced.

Is Tangem Planning to introduce a tiered program?

Yes, we’re planning to launch a tiered program for Tangem Pay cardholders. Different tiers will be introduced gradually. Each tier will offer a distinct set of benefits, including varying cashback levels, plastic or metal card options, different Visa Benefits packages, and tailored fees and limits.

What are the different tiers available? What benefits are included in each tier?

Tangem Pay will gradually introduce 3 subscription tiers: Basic, Plus, and Prestige, starting with Basic and Plus tiers. The Prestige tier is scheduled to be launched separately later in 2026.

How to join the tiered program?

Currently, you can start with the Basic plan in the Tangem app. You can join the waitlist for Plus and Prestige tiers here. Once the subscriptions are available, you will be able to choose your plan during Tangem Pay onboarding, or change the current plan in the app.

What are the prices and benefits for each tier?

At the beginning, we plan to introduce two subscription tiers.

Basic:

  • Plastic and virtual cards; 3 Visa Platinum cards per user;
  • $0/month;

Plus:

  • Plastic and virtual cards; up to 5 Visa Signature cards per user;
  • $29.99/ month, free with $4,500 monthly spending;
  • 2 airport lounge passes a year, travel insurance and other benefits — will be introduced later in July.

How to order plastic cards?

You will be able to order plastic cards directly in the app once they become available. The cards will be delivered by our partner, who will also handle any delivery-related support.

Will cashback be available?

Yes. However, cashback programs will be introduced later this year.
