7.3 Regulation Istanbul prosecutors uncovered 4.3 billion lira in transactions at Magician Of Meta Kripto, detaining 12 suspects and freezing 367 accounts. The company was transferred to the TMSF.
An investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office revealed that Magician Of Meta Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu A.Ş. operated via the website 'aeronx.com'. Since 2023, company accounts saw 4.3 billion lira in inflows and 3.99 billion lira in outflows. Most of the 639 individuals sending funds to the company had prior records for illegal betting or qualified fraud. The probe also uncovered that BCT Yazılım and Liquid Yazılım had direct ties to the platform, with 928 million lira transferred from payment institutions through these companies to the platform's accounts. Authorities conducted simultaneous raids in five provinces, targeting 19 suspects. Twelve people were detained, 14 vehicles, 4 residences, and 2 plots of land were seized, and 367 bank and crypto accounts were frozen. The company was subsequently transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF).
