Ripple has announced a strategic partnership with the Crypto Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Crypto ISAC) to combat cyberattacks and espionage linked to North Korea. Through this collaboration, Ripple will share exclusive threat intelligence, including data on fraudulent wallets, malicious domains, and indicators of compromise tied to North Korean campaigns. The intelligence also features detailed profiles with emails, LinkedIn accounts, phone numbers, and behavioral patterns, helping companies identify and respond to threats more effectively. This initiative follows reports that North Korean hackers have stolen $577 million in early 2026, accounting for 76% of global crypto hack losses. Recent high-profile attacks on Bybit, Drift Protocol, and KelpDAO underscore the need for coordinated industry defenses. The new API from Crypto ISAC enables firms to integrate threat data into their security systems, allowing real-time responses and reducing the risk of repeated attacks. Ripple's move marks a significant step toward strengthening collective security in the digital asset sector.
