DriveWealth and Ripple integrate RLUSD for brokerage settlement

DriveWealth and Ripple integrate RLUSD stablecoin for settlement, payments, and custody, starting in Europe and expanding to the U.S., enabling near real-time funding for global brokerage operations.

DriveWealth has partnered with Ripple to integrate the RLUSD stablecoin on the XRP Ledger into its brokerage infrastructure. This integration will enable stablecoin settlement, cross-border payments, and digital asset custody, starting in Europe with plans to expand to the United States. DriveWealth clients will be able to fund and manage collateral accounts using stablecoins that convert to cash in near real time. This addresses the gap between 24/5 trading and slower traditional funding methods, improving capital movement and reducing settlement delays. The partnership also explores equity financing through Ripple Prime and utilizes Ripple’s mint-and-burn capabilities for efficient token issuance and redemption. Following Standard Chartered’s RLUSD custody launch, this collaboration aims to modernize global brokerage operations and extend RLUSD’s role in institutional financial infrastructure. DriveWealth’s platform currently serves over 100 partners worldwide.
