Charles Hoskinson denies XRP conspiracy allegations

Charles Hoskinson denied conspiring against XRP, refuting "ETHgate" claims and criticizing social media for spreading unfounded rumors and fueling crypto community tensions.

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, has publicly denied any involvement in campaigns or conspiracies against XRP. Recent allegations on social media, especially on X, accused Hoskinson of participating in efforts to harm the Ripple ecosystem. Some even linked him to the "ETHgate" theory, which claims Ethereum affiliates influenced regulators to disadvantage XRP. Hoskinson firmly refuted these accusations, highlighting his contentious split from Ethereum in 2014 and stressing the unlikelihood of collaborating with them against XRP. He criticized social networks for amplifying baseless rumors and reigniting old rivalries between the XRP and Cardano communities. Hoskinson reiterated that there is no coordinated effort on his part to undermine XRP. He denounced the spread of such interpretations online, aiming to defuse the controversy and calm tensions within the crypto ecosystem.
