Ripple and SettleMint launch unified tokenization platform

Ripple and SettleMint partner to offer Asia Pacific institutions a unified platform for custody, issuance, and management of tokenized assets, streamlining digital asset operations.

Ripple and SettleMint have formed a strategic partnership to offer a unified solution for regulated financial institutions to custody, issue, and manage tokenized assets across their full lifecycle. This collaboration integrates Ripple Custody with SettleMint’s Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform (DALP), enabling banks and institutions in the Asia Pacific region to streamline digital asset operations—including issuance, compliance, settlement, and post-issuance servicing—on a single, governed platform. The joint solution is designed to simplify tokenization adoption by eliminating the need for separate systems for custody, issuance, and governance. It also addresses operational complexities after token issuance, such as approvals, payments, and recordkeeping, making it easier for institutions to manage digital assets efficiently. The partnership has already launched in Asia, with plans for global expansion as institutional demand grows. However, no specific customers, implementation dates, or transaction volumes were disclosed in the announcement.
