Ripple and Privy integrate XRPL wallets into apps

Ripple and Privy are integrating XRPL wallets into apps, letting developers support XRP, RLUSD, and more without building wallet infrastructure. This streamlines payments and expands XRPL’s adoption.

Ripple has partnered with Privy, a wallet infrastructure company recently acquired by Stripe, to integrate XRP Ledger (XRPL) support into Privy’s developer platform. This collaboration allows developers to create, manage, and embed XRPL wallets directly within their applications, eliminating the need to build wallet infrastructure from scratch. The integration supports transactions with XRP, RLUSD stablecoin, and other XRPL-issued assets. It also enables app-managed wallets, including those for AI agents and x402 payments. Users retain control, with the option to export their private keys and seed phrases if needed. This partnership aims to simplify wallet integration for fintech and payment companies, enhance user experience by removing the need for separate crypto wallets, and broaden access to XRPL’s payment solutions. Future updates will introduce transaction policy controls and gas fee sponsorship, further expanding the platform’s capabilities.
