Tangem Wallet is a cold wallet that supports dozens of blockchains and thousands of coins and tokens, and the list is constantly expanding. Simply select the assets you need from the list. After activating your Tangem Wallet, you will see just two coins on the home screen: Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Here are two methods to add a token to your wallet’s homepage:
Method 1: Through the "Manage tokens" section
Open the app and log in to your wallet.
Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
Select the desired wallet.
Go to the "Manage tokens" section.
Use the search bar to find the cryptocurrency by name or ticker.
To the right of the cryptocurrency name, an arrow opens a list of available networks for this token.
Enable the switch for the network you require and tap "Save". Enter your access code and scan your wallet to save changes.
Method 2: Through the "Market" section
Open the app and log in to your wallet.
Tap the search bar at the bottom or pull it upwards.
Find the cryptocurrency by name, ticker, or contract address and tap on it.
In the "My Portfolio" section, tap "Add to Portfolio". Note that the Markets section allows you to search for any cryptocurrency listed on CoinGecko.
If the message "This asset is not available" appears instead of the "Add to Portfolio" button, it means Tangem does not currently support this cryptocurrency, and you cannot add it to your portfolio.
If you have multiple wallets, select the one where you want to add the token.
Enable the switch for the network you need and tap "Continue". You may need to enter your access code/biometric ID and scan your wallet.
Once you have added all the tokens you need to the main screen of the Tangem app, you can receive cryptocurrency to your Tangem wallet. Read about it in our next article.
