XRP Ledger stablecoin and RWA volumes surge, RLUSD leads
XRP Ledger’s stablecoin supply jumped 14.6% to $1.3B, led by RLUSD at 93% share. RWA trading volume soared 224x to $7.03B, boosting XRP price by 8%.
The XRP Ledger has experienced significant growth in both its stablecoin and real-world asset (RWA) sectors. RLUSD, Ripple’s dollar-pegged stablecoin, now dominates the XRPL stablecoin market, accounting for over 93% of the $1.32–$1.33 billion market cap as of early October 2026. RLUSD’s global circulation has surpassed $2.4 billion, backed by more than $2.53 billion in segregated reserves, and remains fully redeemable 1:1 for U.S. dollars. The total stablecoin supply on XRPL increased by 14.6% in just seven days, adding $169 million and bringing the network close to Avalanche and Plasma in blockchain stablecoin rankings. Meanwhile, XRPL’s 30-day RWA transfer volume soared by 22,473% to $7.03 billion, despite a relatively small holder base, indicating high-frequency institutional trading. Additionally, the network’s Distributed Asset Value reached $498.8 million, while Represented Asset Value climbed to $4.02 billion. As RWA trading activity surged, XRP’s price rose nearly 8% over the past month, trading around $1.52.
