Samsung SDS and Dunamu partner on stablecoin and AI payments
Samsung SDS and Dunamu are teaming up to develop stablecoin infrastructure and AI-based payment solutions, leveraging blockchain and IT expertise to expand in digital assets.
Samsung SDS is strengthening its digital asset infrastructure strategy through a partnership with Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, South Korea’s top cryptocurrency exchange. This collaboration centers on developing stablecoin infrastructure, AI-powered payment models, and integration frameworks for virtual asset financial systems. Samsung SDS brings proven expertise in digital asset infrastructure, referencing projects such as the Korea Securities Depository’s tokenized securities platform and robust validation of stablecoin processes. By combining Dunamu’s blockchain operational experience with Samsung SDS’s strengths in IT services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise software, the partnership aims to set new industry standards. Recently, Samsung SDS and its affiliates acquired a combined 4% stake in Dunamu, signaling a strategic push into the digital asset and stablecoin sector. Both companies plan to continue discussions and develop specific cooperation plans to lead the market in digital asset infrastructure and next-generation payment solutions.
