Robinhood Q3: Crypto revenue drops, earnings miss

Robinhood’s Q3 2026 revenue rose 12% to $1.42B but missed estimates. EPS fell to $0.51. Crypto revenue plunged 55% YoY, offset by gains in options and prediction markets.

Robinhood reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.42 billion, a 12% year-over-year increase, driven by strong growth in options, equities, and prediction markets. Despite this, revenue slightly missed Wall Street’s expectation of $1.43 billion. Earnings per share came in at $0.51, below the projected $0.55 and down from $0.61 a year earlier. Crypto trading revenue saw a sharp 55% decline year-over-year to $120 million, now making up just 8.4% of total revenue compared to 21% last year. However, this figure still surpassed analyst estimates. Total crypto trading volume dropped 38% to $50 billion. While transaction-based revenue rose 19% to $867 million, the steep drop in crypto activity weighed on overall profitability. Net income fell to $476 million from $556 million a year ago. Robinhood shares declined in after-hours trading. On Polymarket, traders had assigned Robinhood an 87% probability of beating earnings estimates, but actual results fell short.
