CME Group expands crypto futures with ADA, LINK, XLM

CME Group launches ADA, LINK, and XLM futures, expanding regulated crypto derivatives for institutional and retail traders with both standard and micro contract sizes.

CME Group has expanded its crypto derivatives offerings by introducing regulated futures contracts for Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK), and Stellar (XLM). This move extends CME’s portfolio beyond its existing Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP products. The new futures contracts are available in both standard and micro sizes, catering to a wide range of traders, from institutions to retail investors. ADA futures come in 100,000 and 10,000 coin contracts, LINK in 5,000 and 250 token contracts, and XLM in 250,000 and 12,500 unit contracts. This initiative responds to growing client demand for diversified, regulated crypto products and aims to enhance risk management tools. The launch follows CME’s record crypto trading volumes and over $3 trillion in notional value in 2025, reinforcing its leadership in regulated crypto derivatives.
