Moscow Exchange to launch Solana, Ripple, Tron futures
MOEX will launch indices and cash-settled futures for Solana, Ripple, and Tron in 2026, expanding crypto options for qualified investors and mirroring its BTC and ETH futures.
The Moscow Exchange (MOEX) is set to broaden its cryptocurrency derivatives lineup in 2026 by introducing indices and cash-settled futures contracts for Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), and Tron (TRX). These new products will follow the structure of MOEX’s existing Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) index futures, featuring monthly expirations and settlements in Russian rubles. The launch will begin with the publication of official indices for SOL, XRP, and TRX, which will serve as the basis for the new futures contracts. Access to these instruments will be limited to professional, qualified investors, in line with Russian regulatory requirements. Additionally, MOEX is considering the introduction of perpetual futures for Bitcoin and Ethereum. This expansion aims to diversify the crypto investment options available on the exchange while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
