Surf Secures $15M to Launch Next-Gen AI for Crypto Analysis

Surf raised $15M to develop Surf 2.0, an advanced AI for crypto analysis. The platform, already used by major exchanges, will expand features, datasets, and automation for deeper market insights.

Surf, an AI platform specializing in digital asset analysis, has secured $15 million in funding led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Coinbase Ventures and Digital Currency Group. The investment will support the development of Surf 2.0, an upgraded AI model tailored for onchain analysis and institutional crypto research. Surf’s proprietary models, designed specifically for the crypto industry, have outperformed general-purpose AI systems and are already used by major exchanges and research firms. Since its July launch, Surf has generated over one million research reports, achieved millions in annual recurring revenue, and experienced rapid user growth. The new funding will enable Surf to introduce more advanced models, expand proprietary datasets, and deploy agents capable of executing complex analytical tasks, including predictive market simulations and automated trading alerts. The enterprise version will offer enhanced security, compliance features, and dedicated infrastructure for institutional clients. Surf aims to automate research, reduce manual workloads, and provide deeper insights for both retail and institutional investors as AI and blockchain technologies converge.
