Ripple and Brevan Howard deepen brokerage partnership

Ripple and Brevan Howard expand their partnership, with Brevan Howard using Ripple Prime for multi-asset brokerage, bridging traditional and digital asset markets.

Ripple has expanded its partnership with Brevan Howard, allowing the investment manager to leverage Ripple Prime for multi-asset prime brokerage, clearing, and financing services. This move builds on their existing relationship, which includes Brevan Howard’s previous investment in Ripple and participation in a $500 million strategic funding round set for 2025. Ripple Prime’s platform is tailored to support both traditional and digital asset markets, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and capital management for institutional clients. The partnership highlights the increasing demand for infrastructure that bridges traditional finance with digital assets. Brevan Howard, which manages around $35 billion in assets, will now access Ripple Prime’s services across multiple asset classes. Financial terms and specific timelines were not disclosed. Additionally, Ripple Prime recently received a BBB rating from KBRA, secured a $200 million credit line from Neuberger Berman, and integrated Hyperliquid, marking its first direct DeFi venue connection.
