Kaiko secures $110M led by S&P Global, expands data services

Kaiko raised $110M in Series B led by S&P Global, with major financial firms joining. The funds will expand Kaiko’s crypto data infrastructure and services for institutions.

Kaiko, a leading digital asset data provider based in France, has secured $110 million in a Series B funding round led by S&P Global. Other notable participants include Nasdaq, BNP Paribas, Royal Bank of Canada, and Bpifrance. This significant investment will be used to strengthen Kaiko’s core market data business and expand its infrastructure for onchain capital markets, now covering over 150 exchanges and protocols. As part of the round, Kaiko has established a Strategic Industry Working Group, chaired by the company, to focus on data and infrastructure for tokenized markets. This move underscores the growing institutional interest in reliable crypto data services and reflects a broader trend of integrating digital asset solutions into traditional finance. Kaiko did not disclose its latest valuation. The company has previously partnered with institutional infrastructure providers and recently launched the S&P Kaiko Digital Asset Indices, aimed at asset managers and financial institutions seeking structured digital asset data.
