Ripple invests in ZILO and Licuido to boost XRPL

Ripple invested in ZILO and Licuido to expand XRPL’s regulated asset issuance and collateral mobility, aiming to modernize capital markets and support tokenized fund structures.

Ripple has completed strategic investments in ZILO and Licuido to strengthen the XRP Ledger (XRPL) infrastructure. The focus is on regulated transfer agency, asset issuance, and collateral mobility for institutional finance. ZILO offers integrated transfer agency and fund administration technology, supporting tokenized share classes and digital record-keeping as traditional funds move onchain. Licuido operates a tokenization platform and FCA-regulated trading venue, enabling issuance, distribution, and collateral movement for traditional financial assets in digital form. These investments aim to unify traditional and digital asset management, reduce operational complexity, and support instant settlement and liquidity for tokenized assets. Ripple plans to leverage RLUSD for delivery-versus-payment settlement on XRPL, furthering its strategy to modernize capital markets infrastructure. No financial terms were disclosed.
