Securitize to launch on NYSE after $400M SPAC merger
Securitize will list on the NYSE as SECZ on July 2 after its SPAC merger, raising $400M and becoming one of the first public firms focused on real-world asset tokenization.
Securitize is set to debut on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker SECZ on July 2, following shareholder approval of its SPAC merger with Cantor Equity Partners II. The transaction, expected to close on July 1, will generate approximately $400 million in gross proceeds, including an oversubscribed $225 million private investment round. Notably, less than 30% of Cantor shareholders redeemed their shares, leaving over 71% of the SPAC trust intact. This strong support highlights investor confidence in Securitize’s business model and future prospects. As a leading provider of tokenization infrastructure for asset managers and issuers, Securitize will become one of the first publicly traded companies focused on real-world asset tokenization. The listing comes amid rising demand for tokenized funds and on-chain assets, positioning Securitize for growth and greater visibility in public markets.
