Binance users increase BTC and ETH, reduce USDT

Binance's latest proof of reserves shows user BTC up 4.26% and ETH up 10.17%, while USDT holdings fell 1.33%. Reserve ratios for all major assets stayed above 100%.

Binance has published its 43rd proof of reserves report, using a June 1 snapshot of user asset balances. The data shows user Bitcoin holdings rose by 4.26% in May, reaching about 630,000 BTC. Meanwhile, Ethereum holdings grew even faster, up 10.17% to approximately 4.14 million ETH. In contrast, user holdings of the stablecoin USDT dropped by roughly 460 million, or 1.33%, to around 34.3 billion USDT. Reserve ratios for major assets—including BTC, ETH, and USDT—remained above 100%, confirming that Binance holds more assets than user balances. The report highlights a trend of users shifting from stablecoins to core crypto assets, with Ether being accumulated at more than twice the rate of Bitcoin. Binance continues to stress transparency and user asset backing through these regular, point-in-time reports.
