MetaComp raises $35M led by Alibaba for global expansion
MetaComp raised $35M led by Alibaba to expand stablecoin, fiat payments, and AI-driven wealth management solutions globally.
MetaComp, a Singapore-based fintech firm, has raised $35 million in Pre-A and Pre-A+ funding rounds over the past three months. The latest round was led by Alibaba, with participation from Spark Venture and other institutional investors. The capital will be used to expand MetaComp’s hybrid stablecoin and fiat payment solutions, as well as its wealth management services, which include tokenized securities and real-world assets. MetaComp operates under Singapore’s regulatory framework, holding Capital Markets Services (CMS), Recognised Market Operator (RMO), and Major Payment Institution (MPI) licenses. Its StableX Network enables cross-border hybrid settlements for enterprises and payment providers, supporting major stablecoins like USDT and USDC. The new funding will drive geographic expansion into Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, and accelerate AI-driven product development. In 2025, MetaComp reported processing over $10 billion in payments and OTC volume, with a monthly run rate exceeding $1 billion on its asset management platform and over $500 million in wealth assets under management.
