Ripple unveils institutional custody upgrades with staking
Ripple boosts institutional custody with new HSM security, staking for Ethereum and Solana, and enhanced compliance and wallet tech for banks and enterprises.
Ripple has announced several strategic partnerships and integrations to enhance its institutional digital asset custody services. Collaborations with Securosys introduce advanced hardware security module (HSM) solutions, such as CyberVault HSM and CloudHSM, enabling secure cryptographic key management both on-premise and in the cloud. Ripple’s partnership with Figment brings staking capabilities for proof-of-stake networks like Ethereum and Solana directly into its custody workflows. This allows banks and regulated entities to offer staking rewards without building their own validator infrastructure. Additional integrations with Chainalysis for compliance and the acquisition of Palisade for wallet technology further strengthen Ripple Custody’s security and regulatory features. These initiatives aim to simplify deployment, accelerate time-to-market, and provide scalable, compliant solutions for financial institutions expanding their digital asset offerings beyond XRP.
