Grayscale expands crypto ETF push: XRP, Bitcoin, Sui updates
Grayscale updates its XRP Trust, expands Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF to E*TRADE, and advances a Sui ETF with staking, reflecting rising institutional interest in crypto ETFs.
Grayscale has filed a new amendment for its XRP Trust with the SEC, updating operational details and expanding the CoinDesk XRP Index to include data from major exchanges like Bitstamp, Kraken, Robinhood Crypto, and OKX. This move aims to enhance price accuracy, reduce manipulation risks, and better reflect market conditions for its proposed spot XRP ETF. Institutional interest in crypto continues to grow, with asset managers focusing on altcoin ETFs as XRP remains among the top ten cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF has also launched on Morgan Stanley’s E*TRADE platform, providing regulated Bitcoin exposure to advisors overseeing over $7.4 trillion in assets. Additionally, Grayscale is advancing its Sui ETF, submitting an updated S-1 filing that rebrands its Sui Trust as the Grayscale Sui Staking ETF, allowing investors to earn yields through staking. Several firms are now competing to launch the first spot Sui ETF in the US, highlighting increasing institutional interest in emerging crypto networks.
