Bitnomial Unveils First Regulated Aptos Futures for U.S. Traders
Bitnomial has launched the first regulated Aptos (APT) futures in the U.S., offering institutional investors a compliant trading platform. Retail access is coming soon, with plans for more Aptos-linked derivatives ahead.
Bitnomial has launched the first regulated Aptos (APT) futures contracts in the United States, providing institutional investors with a compliant platform for trading and risk management. The contracts, which began trading on January 14, feature monthly expirations and can be settled in either U.S. dollars or Aptos tokens, with margin posted in crypto or USD. Initially available to institutional clients, retail access is expected soon via Bitnomial’s Botanical platform. This development marks a significant milestone for both the Aptos ecosystem and regulated crypto derivatives in the U.S., as it offers a regulated venue for exposure to Aptos, previously only available on offshore exchanges. The launch coincides with Aptos reaching record highs in daily and weekly transaction fees and a rapid increase in active users and total value locked. Bitnomial’s move is seen as a step toward potential spot ETF approval for Aptos, following the regulatory path set by Bitcoin and Ethereum. The company plans to expand its Aptos-linked offerings with perpetual futures and options in the future.
