FXRP enables RLUSD loans for XRP holders on Ethereum
FXRP is now accepted as collateral in Sentora’s RLUSD vault, letting XRP holders borrow RLUSD on Ethereum without selling their XRP, expanding XRP’s DeFi opportunities.
Flare’s FXRP token has been approved as collateral in Sentora’s RLUSD lending vault on Morpho, marking the first time an XRP-based asset is accepted for institutional lending on Ethereum. This integration enables XRP holders to mint FXRP, bridge it to Ethereum, and use it as collateral to borrow RLUSD, Ripple’s dollar-pegged stablecoin, without selling their XRP. The RLUSD Main vault currently manages nearly $280 million in deposits, making it the largest institutionally curated RLUSD vault on Ethereum. This process allows users to access liquidity while maintaining exposure to XRP’s price movements. Sentora conducted thorough due diligence on FXRP, including risk assessment and ongoing monitoring. This development expands XRP’s use cases in decentralized finance, offering a new way for holders to participate in Ethereum-based lending markets without liquidating their assets.
