XRP Ledger sets new record with 67K new addresses

XRP Ledger added 67,186 new addresses in 30 days, reaching a record 8,265,794. Growth is fueled by Asian adoption and increased on-chain activity, with XRP now surpassing Cardano and Dogecoin in wallet adoption.

The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has seen significant growth, adding 67,186 new addresses in the 30 days leading up to May 4. This increase brought the total number of addresses from 8,198,608 to 8,265,794, marking a 0.82% monthly rise and setting a new all-time high for the network. This steady, organic expansion is largely attributed to increased adoption in Asia, notably with Rakuten integrating XRPL into its ecosystem of around 100 million members. The network’s ability to process thousands of transactions per second at low cost continues to attract users. With over 10 years of uninterrupted growth and more than 63 million ledgers processed, XRPL is seeing a surge in active and new addresses, on-chain activity, and tokenized assets. XRP now surpasses Cardano and Dogecoin in wallet adoption, reinforcing its status as a leading digital asset.
