Trade crypto on WhatsApp with wXRP and Solana

The integration of wrapped XRP (wXRP) into the Solana blockchain now enables users to trade cryptocurrency directly through WhatsApp chats. Launched in April via a partnership with LayerZero and Hex Trust, this innovation allows XRP to operate as an SPL token on Solana. As a result, wXRP is compatible with decentralized exchanges and DeFi apps like Raydium, Orca, Kamino, Marginfi, and Backpack. Users can initiate trades by sending simple text commands in WhatsApp, which are processed by AI-powered bots connected to noncustodial wallets. These bots route trade requests through Solana’s DEX aggregators, enabling seamless asset swaps within the chat interface. This development is considered a breakthrough for crypto accessibility, removing the need for traditional exchanges or complex wallet apps. The crypto community has responded positively, sharing screenshots of successful trades, such as swapping 0.1 SOL for about 5.99 wXRP, demonstrating the feature’s ease and practicality.
