Big swaps deserve real rewards. This summer, Tangem is launching Whale Swap, a limited cashback campaign built for high-volume traders. The bigger your swap, the higher your rate.
Large swaps earn up to 0.5% back, paid in USDT or USDC. Whale Swap also stacks with other Tangem promotions. Make a large swap that also meets the reactivation criteria, and you collect both your Whale tier cashback and the $50 reactivation cashback on the same trade.
You can earn this cashback alongside other active promotions when you meet the terms of each one, combining them into bigger rewards.
Details
Stablecoin-to-stablecoin swaps, such as from USDT into USDC, are excluded. Your cashback represents a percentage of each swap's US dollar value of the “From” asset. The rate adheres to a straightforward size-based schedule:

The entire swap earns the single rate for its bracket. A $50,000 swap falls into the 0.20% bracket, so it earns 0.20% on the full amount, which is $100.
Each swap earns up to $500 in cashback, the per-swap maximum; therefore, cashback for swaps over $100 000 notional value will be capped at $500 per transaction.
A single wallet earns up to $10,000 in cashback per trading pair during the campaign. Pairs are directional, so BTC to USDT and USDT to BTC count as separate pairs.
For example, once your BTC to USDT swaps hit the $10,000 ceiling, that direction stops earning. Swaps from USDT back to BTC keep earning under their own separate $10,000 ceiling.
Cashback pays out weekly. Each week's eligible swaps are paid the following week, to the payout address you set at enrollment.
How to enroll
Open the Tangem app and tap the Whale Swap banner. Choose your cashback coin and network, then set your payout address. Enroll once, and you are in. Only swaps made after enrollment are eligible.
Cashback under Whale Swap is a promotional rebate on swap activity. It is not a yield, interest, or a guaranteed profit on digital assets. Completed swaps only. Stablecoin-to-stablecoin swaps are excluded. Availability depends on your region and eligibility. Terms and Conditions apply.

1. How do I join the campaign?
Open the Tangem app and tap the Whale Swap banner*. Enroll once through the Tangem app. Select USDT or USDC, choose a supported network, and provide your Tangem Wallet payout address. Only swaps made after enrollment are eligible.
Can't see the banner?
The Whale Swap banner may appear either on the Home screen or at the bottom of the Market & News section, labeled "Bigger swaps, bigger cashback" with an Enroll button.

2. Which swaps qualify for cashback?
Only swaps successfully completed through Tangem during the campaign period qualify. Stablecoin-to-stablecoin swaps, such as USDT to USDC, are excluded.
3. How much cashback can I earn?
The cashback rate depends on the value of each individual swap:
- $10,000–$19,999: 0.10%
- $20,000–$99,999: 0.20%
- $100,000 and above: 0.50%
Swaps below $10,000 do not earn cashback.
4. Is there a maximum cashback amount?
Yes. Cashback is capped at $500 per swap and $10,000 per trading pair per Wallet ID during the campaign.
Trading pairs are directional, so BTC → USDT and USDT → BTC have separate limits.
5. When will I receive my cashback?
Cashback is processed weekly. Rewards earned from Monday through Sunday are generally paid during the following week, subject to verification.
6. How will I receive my cashback?
Cashback is paid in your selected coin—USDT or USDC—to the payout address provided during enrollment.
Supported networks include Ethereum, Optimism, BNB Chain, Polygon, HyperEVM, Base, Arbitrum, and Avalanche.
7 Why haven’t I received my cashback?
Common reasons include:
- The swap was made before enrollment.
- The swap was not completed successfully.
- The swap was between two stablecoins.
- The payout address or selected network is unsupported.
- The applicable cashback limit was reached.
- The payout is still being verified or was deferred due to network fees.
- The campaign ended
