Tangem Pay: More Control Over Your Cards
Tangem Pay just got more flexible with app update 6.0. You can now manage your cards directly in the app, with no extra steps or support tickets.
Issue an additional card
You can now issue an additional Tangem Pay card from within the app. Add a second card to your account without starting a new setup process.
This works for users who want another card for a different spending purpose. The process runs entirely inside the app.
Close an existing card
You can now close an existing Tangem Pay card directly from the app. No need to contact support or wait for manual processing.
This gives you full control over your card lineup. Close a card as soon as you no longer need it.
Updated warning for linked cards
The warning banner for Card Linked status has been updated. It now clearly flags that top-ups are disabled for linked cards.
This change removes ambiguity around linked card behavior. Users see the restriction upfront instead of discovering it mid-transaction.
What this means for you
These updates put card lifecycle management fully in your hands. Issue, close, and monitor your cards without leaving the app.
Tangem Pay continues to build toward a self-custody card experience with fewer support dependencies. More updates are coming as the product matures.
