Curve StableSwap launches on Stellar mainnet
Curve Finance launched StableSwap on Stellar, its first non-EVM deployment. Users can create pools and swap stablecoins with low slippage. FXSwap is planned, pending audit.
Curve Finance has launched its StableSwap protocol natively on the Stellar mainnet, marking its first deployment outside the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystem. The protocol went live on October 29, 2026, utilizing Stellar’s Soroban smart-contract platform and was rebuilt specifically for Stellar, rather than relying on Ethereum compatibility. With this launch, users can create permissionless liquidity pools, discover and provide assets, and swap supported tokens directly on Stellar. StableSwap is optimized for assets with closely matched values, such as dollar-pegged stablecoins, aiming to minimize slippage compared to general-purpose liquidity pools. This deployment is a significant milestone for Stellar’s payments and tokenized asset ecosystem, broadening its decentralized finance (DeFi) offerings. A beta web interface is available for accessing the new pools and connecting supported wallets. An FXSwap feature is also planned, pending the completion of an audit.
