Pi Network unveils 4 key updates before summit

Pi Network launched four updates to simplify app development, improve token tracking, and enhance identity verification. Only PiVerify directly boosts PI token demand. The Ecosystem Summit will spotlight these features.

Pi Network has rolled out four significant updates ahead of its inaugural Ecosystem Summit, aiming to streamline app development, deployment, and monitoring within its ecosystem. The revamped Developer Portal now centralizes essential settings—such as domains, API keys, app wallets, and privacy information—making it easier to access services like Pi Sign-In, PiNet, the Ad Network, and app listings. SoloHost integrates artificial intelligence to help developers package and distribute applications via Pi Desktop. Pi BlockExplorer now displays historical price data for Launchpad Testnet tokens, serving as a valuable tool for testing and education. PiVerify introduces advanced identity verification, including duplicate-face and liveness checks, with businesses able to pay for these services in PI tokens. While these updates lower technical barriers and enhance the developer experience, only PiVerify directly increases demand for the PI token. The PI token price remains largely unchanged, but the upcoming Ecosystem Summit on November 17–19, 2026, will showcase the practical impact of these features.
