Uniswap v4 aggregator hooks expand liquidity access

Uniswap v4 aggregator hooks are live on Ethereum, Base, and Robinhood Chain, routing trades through external DEXs like Curve and PancakeSwap V3. Protocol fees from these trades contribute to UNI token burns.

Uniswap Labs has introduced aggregator hooks for Uniswap v4, now available on Ethereum, Base, and Robinhood Chain. This new feature allows Uniswap to route trades through external liquidity sources, including Curve, Fluid, PancakeSwap V3, Slipstream, and various Uniswap V2 and V3 forks. At launch, seven external platforms are supported, covering over 90% of DEX activity across these networks. Aggregator hooks work by wrapping external liquidity as Uniswap v4 pools, enabling the protocol to compare prices across both internal and external venues. This ensures users receive the best available rates, with trades executed in a single transaction. Trades routed through these hooks incur protocol fees, which contribute to UNI token burns, benefiting UNI holders. The hooks are accessible via the Uniswap web app and API, with external sources automatically included for users and available to developers. This upgrade, part of the broader UNIfication proposal, aims to aggregate liquidity and optimize trade routing across DeFi, enhancing efficiency and value for the Uniswap ecosystem.
