Chainlink’s CCIP Vault Adapters boost cross-chain DeFi
Chainlink’s CCIP Vault Adapters enable DeFi vaults to accept one-click deposits from 80+ blockchains, streamlining operations and boosting cross-chain DeFi adoption.
Chainlink has launched CCIP Vault Adapters, a solution that allows DeFi vaults to accept deposits from over 80 blockchains through a simple, one-click process. This innovation addresses the challenge of fragmented liquidity in DeFi, enabling users to deposit assets without manual bridging or network switching. The adapters keep strategy and accounting unified on a single chain, simplifying operations for providers and improving accessibility for users. Leading protocols such as Aave, Lombard, Venus, Maple, and Re have already adopted this technology. Built on Chainlink’s advanced Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), the adapters also convert vault share tokens into Cross-Chain Tokens (CCTs) and integrate with other Chainlink services. This enhances interoperability and security, reinforcing Chainlink’s influence in decentralized finance and supporting broader adoption of cross-chain products.
