Mysten Labs and Google Cloud launch verifiable AI agent tool

Mysten Labs and Google Cloud launched the Verifiable Agent Arbiter, offering cryptographically verifiable AI agent records for compliance and accountability, while keeping sensitive data private.

Mysten Labs and Google Cloud have introduced the Verifiable Agent Arbiter (VAA), an evidence layer designed to deliver cryptographically verifiable records of AI agent activity for enterprises. The VAA helps organizations prove that AI agents operated within their authorized permissions, addressing compliance needs and supporting regulatory requirements like the EU AI Act. The system separates detailed telemetry—such as prompts, outputs, tool calls, and policy decisions—which remains private in customer-controlled Google Cloud Storage, from cryptographic proofs of activity stored on Walrus and coordinated via the Sui blockchain. This structure enables independent verification of agent actions without exposing sensitive business data. Additional features include dispute replay through the Agent2Agent protocol, incident reconstruction for security teams, and durable record retention that can adapt to future cryptographic standards. The VAA framework aims to enhance accountability, transparency, and trust in enterprise AI operations, leveraging SuiNetwork’s blockchain for secure oversight.
