This disruption occurred during a period of intense activity, with daily transactions exceeding 14 million and total value locked above $700 million. Typically, the network produces a block every 0.1 seconds, but during the incident, around 8,400 blocks were missed. Throughout the outage, users were unable to move tokens, execute smart contract calls, or interact with network routers, as transactions remained stuck at the same block number. Importantly, no funds were lost and no unauthorized transfers took place. The cause of the outage was not disclosed. Robinhood Chain lacks a public status page, so block explorers served as the main information source. The event raised concerns about the network’s reliance on a single sequencer, highlighting potential vulnerabilities. Block production eventually resumed, though some instability persisted, and a detailed post-mortem was still pending at the time of reporting.
