Telegram enables AI agents for crypto transactions
TON Tech’s Agentic Wallets let AI agents in Telegram autonomously manage crypto transactions. Users set limits and retain control, advancing agentic AI in blockchain finance.
TON Tech has introduced Agentic Wallets on the TON blockchain, enabling AI agents within Telegram to autonomously execute onchain transactions such as transfers, swaps, staking, and portfolio management. Users can create dedicated wallets for each AI agent, set spending limits, and revoke access at any time, ensuring robust control and security. The system is non-custodial, so users maintain ownership of their main wallets while agents operate only within assigned balances. This innovation allows AI agents to automate financial operations like trading, DeFi participation, and subscription payments without exposing private keys or requiring manual approval for every transaction. It marks a significant milestone in the adoption of agentic AI in digital finance, positioning Telegram and TON as pioneers in integrating autonomous AI-powered financial tools within a messaging platform serving over a billion users. Despite this advancement, TON network activity has recently declined, with active addresses dropping below 100,000 and Toncoin facing market pressure.
