zBNB launches: Private transfers on BNB Chain

zERC20 launches zBNB on BNB Chain, enabling private transfers by hiding sender, receiver, and transaction details. zBNB uses zero-knowledge proof-of-burn for privacy, low fees, and fast transactions.

The zERC20 protocol has introduced zBNB, a privacy-centric asset on the BNB Chain. This innovation enables users to conduct private transfers by concealing sender and receiver information, balances, and transaction histories. zBNB works by allowing users to wrap BNB, sending the original tokens to a burn address and generating a cryptographic proof. This proof is then used to mint zBNB to a new, unlinked address, leveraging zero-knowledge proof-of-burn technology (EIP-7503). The process ensures privacy without requiring extra software or complex setup. zBNB is compatible with standard wallets, offers low fees, and supports fast transaction finality. The open-source protocol addresses growing privacy demands as BNB Chain scales, aiming to deliver seamless, privacy-preserving transfers while retaining the familiar BNB experience.
