Robinhood Chain testnet surpasses 4M transactions

Robinhood Chain’s testnet hit 4M+ transactions in its first week. Built on Arbitrum, it targets tokenized assets and DeFi, though some question the reliability of testnet data.

Robinhood has launched its own blockchain, Robinhood Chain, operating as an Ethereum Layer-2 network powered by Arbitrum technology. In its first week on public testnet, the chain processed over four million transactions, signaling strong initial interest from developers and users alike. The network is designed to support tokenized real-world assets and on-chain financial services, aiming to lower transaction fees and boost scalability for decentralized applications. Developers are already piloting features such as stock tokens and integrating with Robinhood’s broader ecosystem. Despite the impressive transaction volume, some in the crypto community caution that testnet activity can be artificially inflated by automated or internal actions, making early data potentially misleading. Nevertheless, the rapid growth and active developer participation highlight Robinhood Chain’s ambition to bridge traditional finance with decentralized assets and advance on-chain finance.
