Ondo and Chainlink unlock DeFi collateral with tokenized US stocks

Ondo Global Markets uses Chainlink price feeds for tokenized U.S. stocks on Ethereum, enabling their use as DeFi collateral with real-time, reliable pricing.

Ondo Global Markets has integrated Chainlink Data Feeds as its official oracle solution, bringing live onchain pricing to its tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs—such as SPYon, QQQon, and TSLAon—on the Ethereum blockchain. This integration enables these tokenized equities to serve as collateral in DeFi lending markets like Euler, allowing users to borrow stablecoins against them. Chainlink’s decentralized oracle networks deliver reliable, institutional-grade price data, including real-time updates and corporate actions like dividends. As a result, DeFi protocols can set collateral parameters, manage liquidations, and automate strategies more efficiently. This development bridges traditional finance and DeFi, expanding the utility of tokenized stocks as productive collateral and enhancing transparency in decentralized lending.
