Chainlink acquires Atlas to boost DeFi and SVR

Chainlink acquires Atlas to enhance its SVR solution, boosting DeFi revenue and efficiency across major blockchain ecosystems with improved order flow technology.

Chainlink has acquired Atlas, a transaction ordering and on-chain order flow infrastructure developed by FastLane. This acquisition brings both Atlas’s technology and core team under Chainlink’s umbrella. The primary goal is to integrate Atlas’s order flow auction system into Chainlink’s Smart Value Recapture (SVR) solution, which helps decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols recover profits from liquidations that would otherwise be lost to third parties. With this move, Atlas will now exclusively support Chainlink SVR, extending its reach across multiple blockchain ecosystems, including Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Hyperliquid’s HyperEVM. The integration is expected to accelerate SVR’s multi-chain rollout, enhance protocol-native revenue, and improve operational efficiency for DeFi applications. Existing Atlas users will benefit from streamlined migration paths, while the integration aims to strengthen transaction ordering and revenue distribution for protocols leveraging Chainlink data. To date, the SVR system has processed over $460 million in liquidations, recovering more than $10 million for integrated protocols.
