Polygon integrates TRON’s $94B USDT for business payments
Polygon Labs integrated TRON’s $94B USDT into Open Money Stack, enabling regulated stablecoin payments and cross-border transfers for businesses via a unified interface.
Polygon Labs has integrated the TRON network, which hosts over $94 billion in USDT, into its Open Money Stack platform. This move enables businesses to offer stablecoin payments and cross-border transfers through a unified interface, eliminating the need for separate wallet providers, bridges, or fiat on/off-ramp operators. Companies can now convert bank transfers, debit card payments, or cash into USDT on TRON and withdraw to bank accounts, with regulated access via money-transmitter licenses covering 48 U.S. states. The update also expands programmable wallet management and allows seamless routing of USDT between TRON and EVM-compatible networks, such as Polygon Chain, in a single transaction flow. The service targets remittance firms, fintechs, and payment providers aiming to simplify digital dollar services and stablecoin payment infrastructure. No launch date, pricing, or partner banks have been disclosed. Existing licensing and regulatory requirements for businesses remain in place.
