Binance’s December 2025 Proof of Reserves: BTC Up, Transparency Strong

Binance’s December 2025 Proof of Reserves shows a 4% rise in user BTC balances, declines in ETH and USDT, and strong over-reserve ratios, reinforcing transparency and market confidence.

Binance has published its December 2025 Proof of Reserves (PoR) report, revealing a 4% month-over-month increase in user Bitcoin balances to 617,620 BTC, while Ethereum and Tether (USDT) holdings declined by 1.32% and 1.24% respectively. The reserve rates stand at 102.11% for BTC, 109.16% for USDT, 100% for ETH, and 112.32% for BNB, indicating that Binance holds more assets than user deposits, providing a robust buffer against market volatility. The report, verified by a third-party audit, highlights Binance’s ongoing commitment to transparency, with regular disclosures and cryptographic verification methods such as Merkle Trees. The shift in user behavior, with increased BTC and BNB holdings and decreased ETH and USDT, is attributed to market uncertainty and asset rotation. Binance’s stablecoin over-reserves have reached six-month highs, further strengthening the platform’s risk resistance and ability to meet withdrawal demands. These measures are designed to enhance investor confidence and demonstrate Binance’s financial health and market resilience.
