Wyoming sets new transparency standard for FRNT

Wyoming’s FRNT stablecoin now uses Chainlink Proof of Reserve for onchain, near-real-time reserve verification and secure issuance. Reserve income funds public education, setting a new transparency benchmark.

Wyoming has significantly improved the transparency of its official stablecoin, the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT), by integrating Chainlink Proof of Reserve. This enables near-real-time, onchain verification of FRNT’s reserves, ensuring users can independently confirm the token’s backing at any time. Following a migration from LayerZero to Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), Chainlink now serves as the sole infrastructure for FRNT’s cross-chain transfers and reserve verification. The Network Firm will independently audit FRNT’s reserves and token supply according to AICPA standards, with Chainlink publishing the verified data onchain. Additionally, Chainlink’s Secure Mint framework ensures that new FRNT tokens cannot be issued unless fully backed by reserves. Income from FRNT reserves supports Wyoming’s public education system. This initiative surpasses the GENIUS Act’s transparency requirements and sets a new benchmark for digital asset transparency among U.S. public entities.
