Brale unveils ION Protocol and tokenization API
Brale launched ION Protocol for cross-chain stablecoin transfers using a burn-and-mint model. The new Tokenization API enables token issuance on 30 blockchains. Brale supports 100+ programs and billions in annual volume.
Brale has introduced the ION Protocol, an interoperability system designed to enable seamless transfers of custom stablecoins across multiple blockchains. Utilizing a burn-and-mint mechanism, the protocol destroys tokens on the source chain and mints them on the destination chain. This eliminates the need for pre-funded liquidity pools and addresses liquidity fragmentation, reducing capital requirements and streamlining cross-chain stablecoin transfers. The ION Protocol debuts on testnet with partners including Monad, Rain, Coinflow, Turnkey, Etherfuse, Spark, Canton, and Solana. This launch supports the increasing number of stablecoins and issuers in the market. Additionally, Brale unveiled a Tokenization API, allowing enterprises to issue and manage custom tokens across nearly 30 blockchains through a single integration. Issuers retain control over reserves and compliance. Brale currently supports over 100 live programs, processes billions in annual volume, and holds money transmitter licenses in 45 U.S. jurisdictions.
