Breez unveils Bitcoin-to-stablecoin payments across 30+ blockchains
Breez’s SDK lets users send USDC or USDT from Bitcoin balances across 30+ blockchains, automating conversion and routing to simplify cross-chain payments for developers and users.
Breez has introduced a new SDK feature that allows users to send USDC and USDT stablecoins across more than 30 blockchain networks directly from their Bitcoin balances. This advancement eliminates the need for users to hold or manage stablecoins, as conversion and routing are handled automatically within Breez’s developer toolkit. The toolkit is built on the Spark Layer 2 solution and leverages the Lightning Network for instant settlement. Developers can now integrate stablecoin-denominated payments into wallets, social apps, and remittance platforms without requiring users to manage multiple token balances or wallets. The process includes verifying the recipient’s address, determining the destination blockchain, and using liquidity providers to convert Bitcoin into USDC or USDT for delivery. Breez also plans to enable receiving stablecoins from external chains in the future, further enhancing interoperability and simplifying cross-chain payments for both users and developers.
