AllUnity unveils SEKAU: Swedish krona stablecoin live
AllUnity launches SEKAU, a fully reserved Swedish krona stablecoin under EU MiCA, supporting multi-chain settlement for institutional payments and cross-border transfers.
AllUnity has introduced SEKAU, a fully reserved stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the Swedish krona. Issued as an e-money token under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation, SEKAU is designed for compliant digital transactions and supports instant payments, cross-border transfers, and 24/7 settlement. The stablecoin operates across multiple blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Solana, Base, Tempo, and Polygon. SEKAU is fully backed by segregated reserves held with regulated partners, with Banking Circle serving as the reserve and settlement bank. Targeting institutional clients, payment service providers, and digital asset exchanges, SEKAU enables Swedish krona settlement capabilities. This launch expands AllUnity’s regulated stablecoin portfolio, diversifying Europe’s stablecoin landscape beyond dollar and euro offerings, and strengthens the region’s compliant digital payment infrastructure.
