Falcon Finance unveils regulated fUSD stablecoin
Falcon Finance, Anchorage Digital Bank, and Ceffu launched fUSD, a regulated stablecoin for institutions, fully backed by U.S. Treasuries. Eligible holders may access a separate 3% rewards program under strict compliance.
Falcon Finance, in collaboration with Anchorage Digital Bank and Ceffu, has introduced fUSD, a regulated stablecoin tailored for institutional use. Issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, fUSD is fully backed by U.S. Treasuries, money market funds, and cash equivalents. Deloitte verifies the reserves monthly, ensuring transparency and trust. The stablecoin adheres to the GENIUS Act, which prohibits issuers from paying direct yield to holders. However, Falcon Finance offers a separate rewards program for eligible institutional participants, targeting an estimated 3% annual return. These rewards are distributed via bilateral agreements, not by the issuer or custodian. Participation is limited to whitelisted professional entities. fUSD is positioned as a compliant, transparent, institutional-grade asset for high-value settlements, treasury management, and collateral posting. This launch underscores the growing role of stablecoins as essential tools for regulated financial institutions.
