Apex Group and WLFI pilot USD1 stablecoin for funds

Apex Group and WLFI partner to pilot USD1 stablecoin, streamlining fund transactions and expanding access to tokenized real estate via digital platforms and a new mobile app.

Apex Group, a global financial services provider managing over $3.5 trillion in assets, has partnered with World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a crypto firm associated with the Trump family, to pilot the USD1 stablecoin for fund transactions. This initiative aims to integrate USD1 as a payment rail for subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions within Apex’s tokenized fund ecosystem, enhancing settlement speed and reducing operational costs. The collaboration also explores listing WLFI assets, such as real estate and infrastructure, on the London Stock Exchange Group’s Digital Market Infrastructure platform, pending regulatory approval. Tokenized assets may soon be accessible through WLFI’s upcoming mobile app, enabling users to manage digital assets and connect bank accounts and wallets. Additionally, WLFI is launching an institutional-grade real-world asset product, with the Trump International Hotel & Resort in the Maldives as its first offering. This marks a significant step in merging decentralized finance with real estate investment.
