Tether has officially introduced a new stablecoin, USA₮ (USAt), which is federally regulated and fully backed by the U.S. dollar. This digital asset is designed to comply with the GENIUS Act, the first federal framework for payment stablecoins in the United States, enacted in July 2025. USA₮ is issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, with reserves managed by Cantor Fitzgerald, ensuring robust security and transparency. The stablecoin is tailored for both institutional and retail users, offering a compliant and reliable digital dollar solution within the U.S. financial system. The launch marks Tether’s formal entry into the U.S. regulated stablecoin market. USA₮ will be available on major exchanges, including Bybit, Crypto.com, Kraken, OKX, and MoonPay, and is supported by regulated banking partners.
