Brian Quintenz Joins SUI Group Board, Strengthens SUI Token Strategy

Brian Quintenz joins SUI Group Holdings' board as an independent director, bringing regulatory expertise to support the company's digital asset and treasury strategy focused on the SUI token.

Brian Quintenz has been appointed as an independent director to the board of SUI Group Holdings, effective January 5. This move follows his withdrawal from the nomination process to chair the CFTC, after facing political resistance and concerns over potential conflicts of interest. Quintenz brings extensive experience in regulatory policy, capital markets, and digital asset infrastructure, having previously served at the CFTC and in advisory roles within the crypto sector. At SUI Group, a Nasdaq-listed company operating at the intersection of blockchain infrastructure and institutional finance, Quintenz will contribute to the company’s institutional treasury strategy centered on the SUI token and will serve on the audit committee. His appointment expands the board to five members, three of whom are independent under Nasdaq rules. Leadership at SUI Group views Quintenz’s addition as a significant endorsement of the company’s long-term vision and its efforts to align with evolving regulatory standards in the digital asset industry. The company maintains a formal relationship with the Sui Foundation and continues to develop its digital asset services and treasury platform.
